Italian Cultural Institutes around the world

Each Italian Cultural Institute has at its disposal a number of scholarships and study grants, which are awarded during the summer period to interested and deserving students according to criteria that each Cultural Institute defines annually.

Interested students should contact the nearest Italian Cultural Institute directly to obtain all the necessary information.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Scholarship holders of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are entitled to a 50% reduction on tuition fees for all Italian language courses, art history, Italian culture, and art courses offered by the Michelangelo Institute.

To benefit from the award, applicants must submit a request to the Scholarships Office of the Michelangelo Institute by March 31 each year.

Students with Italian nationality

They are entitled to a 20% reduction on tuition fees for standard Italian language courses, art history, Italian culture courses, and academic art courses offered by the Michelangelo Institute during the months of January, February, March, September, October, November, and December each year.
To obtain the benefit, the student must, at the time of enrollment in the courses, prove Italian nationality with official documentation (passport or other).

University students

University students from faculties of Italian studies, languages, art history, and art may obtain a partial 25% reduction on tuition fees for all courses.

Italian language, art history, Italian culture, and art courses offered by the Michelangelo Institute.

The application must be addressed to the Institute’s Scholarships Office at any time during the year.
