Life in Florence
Where is the school
Palazzo Gherardi, the headquarters of the Michelangelo Institute in Florence, is a 15th-century historical monument and is located in the centre of the Santa Croce district, the oldest and most authentic part of the city.
Around the school, in the old streets and squares of the district, the most active life of the city takes place: museums, markets, craftsmen’s and restorers’ workshops, cinemas, theatres, trattorias, restaurants, pizzerias, the University, small and large shops, supermarkets, bars, the post office, gardens…….
